Canine hemangiosarcoma clinical trial at Johns Hopkins

“The Center for Image-Guided Animal Therapy at Johns Hopkins University is currently performing a clinical trial in pet dogs with hemangiosarcoma. Preliminary data from our trial demonstrates that dogs that do not have metastatic disease, can have an excellent quality of life once the primary tumor has been removed. Dogs with metastatic disease appear to have more aggressive disease that is more likely to affect the pet’s quality of life.”
